Ive been having some fun weathered up some passenger cars for my Better Late than Never Railroad. I’ve still got 2 more cars to weather for this consist. There is one more coach and a Pullman.
Weathering sure is fun & like the name of your railroad.
Regards, Peter
Thanks. Its been fun being a fictional railroad. As long as i can find a reason for something I go with it.
Got to be weathered unless they are fresh out of the paint shop! Love it!
Love the result! Your railroad must be a subsidiary of the Nowhere & East Armpit Railroad
Nice work, trainmanmarsh!
It might have some connections. Probaby a cousin thrice removed on the aunt’s uncle’s goldfish’s side
This is another of the Better Late than Never Railroad consists. This is the Molting Ferret, a train aimed at busy executives who want to travel and work while relaxing with their secretaries when no one is looking. This is only one of the named trains on the BLN. Ill ahare a few of the others when I can.
Shame on those busy executives!

These are the cars of the railroad’s most infamous train, the Limping Mongoose. This is the second class version of the Railroad’s premier train, the Marauding Weasel. The Limping Mongoose is sure to leave passengers regretting their life choices that brought them to riding such a disaster of a train. Passengers fight to get a seats with a cushion and the snack bar car only stocks seat fluff or mustard covered napkins. The worst part of the Limping Mongoose is that the train have beover taken by a flock of semi-famous, very broody chickens who attack anyone who atrempt to enter the last 3 cars of the consists
Gorgeous weathering work, don’t know that I’ve ever seen passenger stock so beaten down other than sitting in deadlines/out in the woods! They look great with your worn and beaten aesthetic, and really tickle my weathering brain lol!
Nothing on the Better Late than Never Railroad stays clean for long. Any train that passes through Seaview will start to corrode almost instantly as the air is corrisive and mildly toxic. We wont even begin to talk about the water. The locals are used to it but tourists dont stay long because they say their lungs start to burn after 12 hours
That can’t be good for the locals even though they may be used to it.
