If anyone in the U.S., or more likely Canada, comes across a PCC tramcar could they please measure the length and height please.

I have a PCC plan in front of me and it shows the length of the body over the anti-climbers as 46’ 5 3/8".The height of the roof over the rail is 10’ 2 7/8" . The height of the body from the bottom next to the door to the roof top is 9’ 6". I hope this helps. The plan is from the Traction Planbook, published by Carstens Publications, Inc. It may still be in print. Until they were taken out of service, I rode PCC street cars all over Washington,DC.

PTC, & Red Arrow in Philly, USA used to run those cars. I understand that SEPTA still runs some on the Media line. Faintly recall something in newspaper a year or so ago that they were going to restore a bunch in Philly and get them back on the streets in revenue operations.
Those recollections, if true, South East Pennslyvania Transit Authority should be able to answer any inquiries!
