Hi all,
I was reading the thread about the Walthers curved turnout having different dimensions than what the manufacturer says and now I am concerned about the N scale code 55 curved turnouts. Peco says the inside radius is 18", the outer radius 36" and the angle is 10. I made my own turnouts for Cadrail using these dimensions and I used the turnouts for some critical points in the track plan. Are these dimensions wrong too? I can’t measure them myself because I do not have any and I won’t have any for a while. Any help you can give me is appreciated.
They’re ‘approximate’. (Peco uses metric).
You either use whatever is available, or build your own.
Code 55 Kit’s @ $34 http://www.troutcreekeng.com/bkn.html
Does anyone know how “approximate” they are? Or does anyone have a cadrail template for one? I have considered making my own but this would just be so much easier. [:D]
