OK so I’ve got most of my layout down with flex track with brown ties, and now I’ve gone out to buy my matching Peco turnouts. Am I out of luck?! Everywhere I look I see black ties but no Peco turnouts with brown ties.
I have never seen any with brown ties, but I think Micro Engineering and Proto 87 market such turnouts. What many of us do is weather the ties anyway, and that often means what they looked like at the outset doesn’t much matter by the time we’re done. I paint most of my ties to look as if some have been newly replaced while others are well aged, but still serviceable.
