Does anyone know if the records - cars orders/build records exist anyway? I’m looking for records before they merged with Michigan Car Builders - from 1885 to 1890/93 -around that period.
Would also like to find the Michigan-Peninsular company records too.
Any ideas on that?
I am totally clueless above the existence or nonexistence of those records. However, a quick google search indcates that the companies were located in Detroit. Try starting off with a call to the public library and/or any succesor company(ies). You might get a lead which means another phone call etc.

Google them. Lots of info, including that they merged with 12 other companies to become AC&F.
