When downloading the graphic, it does not save as a .pdf. It saves as an ASHX file (.ashx). Windows does not seem to recognize it. What program should I use to open it. Thanks, Rich
I was able to open it with Acrobat 9. Loved the lay out, Has given me some thoughts
Hey Richard,
RIGHT click on the link and then click “Save target as…”
works every time…
Excellent idea, nice long main, great dock area, interesting bridges, great engine facility, lots of switching and industry, seems to have it all, will be the base idea for my layout, I have an area of 23x12 to build in.
Nice! I do not have this much space but will try to incorporate some part of the layout.
You guys are lucky, your homes have basements. in India few houses have basements. Also as most houses have large windows dust is a major problem. I am trying to workout a method to have a poly carbonate sheet cover over the layout to keep the dust out and still keep the layout usable. Any ideas?
Anil, It might be easer and just as effective to cover the window(s) rather than the layout with plastic to keep out dust. That leaves the layout accessible. Run a track cleaning car around at the start odf each operatng session. I suspect you would lke this way better if t works. Depends on quantity and frequency of dust of course.
Great Layout. Any chance (MR) we can see a video of the layout ?
Its too nice of a layout not to have a video.
I agree with Art. I have chosen to model this layout with minor changes, but would love to see a video. The layout has incredible detail that cannot be covered in just one article.
Great layout wish there were more pictures to get an idea of how the under run came to upper run on by cove yard and dock area.
this is all new to me, so i am just getting a feel for thing
