Hi again, I’ve been stuggling for the longest time to find a motor without blowing a budget that is brand new and the perfect retrofit for the Treble-O-Lectric F unit Diesel that I want to build from Parts, I’d have to extend the shafts to be able to work using brass, the model I want to be rubber band drive to keep the authenicity and also to run on 9 volts DC, doesn’t matter on the motor type at least as it fitst in the criteria I’ll be happy, it would run on a 9 volt battery thats speed ajustible and reverse direcrional.
Go on ebay .Thay have dozens of motors of all description so cheap you can buy a few as spares.
A NWSL motor that has “10” as the first two digits should work. They are rated at twelve volts, but will run OK on 9 volts.
NWSL is back up and operating. A note to them might help.

The Mabuchi FK-280SA 14200 should work.

I’m beginning to realize that aging is not for wimps.

I have used a single shaft from these people in a H0n2/ 1/2 loco and they work a treat
