PFE ice platforms in N scale

I have been starting to model Ogden Utah in N scale as a series of modules and have completed track for two 6 foot sections to model the PFE ice platforms in N scale. The problem is that although scratchbuilding would be fun; to scratchbuild the ice platforms for 8 tracks (longest of which is 9 feet), it would take forever. Don’t get me wrong. Thats the plan. But last time I was in Papa Bens in Houston, I saw an HO PFE platform from intermountain. Does anyone make one of these in N scale. If not, does anyone have any suggestions on how to speed up this process. I thought about making molds but don’t know if it would save any time with all the cross pieces. I remember Walthers making some type of platform in the past but don’t see it listed anylonger (and the price would likely be prohibitive.

The Intermountain ice platform is actually made by Tichy. They don’t make it in N scale.

Looking through the Walthers website, there are a few ice platforms in N scale, none cheap:

Looks like your best bet is to head over to Ebay and start looking for the Walthers kit. Either that or buy one of the Tichy kits, and use it as a master plan to scratchbuild some in N scale (not too hard to do in styrene, and much cheaper than any of the kits)
