On my way home from TN i passed thru KY and spot a derailment scene of Q539 from the day before. Shown is work train dumping ballast on newly laid panel track. Second photo is of a NS Ballast train on the Burnside Bridge in Burnside,KY

That truck was parked with no tires on the wheels. Hmmmm…

I wondered if it was a junker,and just happened to be in the way when the train derailed?

Picture # 2 would make a great model rr scene !

WO772? What is the ‘O’ stand for? I thought most trains ID’s had 3 numbers and a date of when the train first got started. Example, W077-28. Is there an exception?
