Anybody running a Piko Taurus locomotive? Any quirks? Good-bad, whatever. Looking for some general info. I read the review from the 2006 GR, and perhaps there’s been some update on this engine?
I have a Piko “Hobby Line” ho scale Taurus locomotive which I purchased last year. The locomotive is a bit noisey but it is a good runner. The model itself is not super detailed but for the price (around $85), I can live with a bit of noise. The painting and graphics are highend in my opinion. I really enjoy running it. Piko offers several different liveries all of which are very nice.
