I know it’s been a while since I last posted here and a lot’s changed since then. I’ve dismanteled my old railway in New York and moved to South Carolina. As soon as I get a place of my own, I’m going to start building a new railroad.
While I don’t know what kind of space I have yet, I have a baisc idea of what I want to modle, coastal South Carolina. I’ve even picked out a name, the Carolina Southern Railroad. I made a lot of mistake with my previouse railroad, which I learned from, but I have some questions:
-
Is stainless steel better suited for the moist climate down here?
-
What kind of plants would be good small scale representations of the tall pines, big live oaks and spanish moss that grows here?
-
How would you make a working modle of this bridge ?
Thanks.
