Plaster cloth and holes

I ahve tried really hard to overlap the plaster cloth as the instructions indicate, but there are still holes that need to be filled a bit prior to painting. My question: which plaster product from Woodland Scenics is better to use for this purpose ? Or, do people use another method ? Thanks in advance for your advice.

I purchased a bag of Gypsolyte liteweight plaster product from the hardware store and put a layer of this on my scenery.

This is typical of the occasion when the cheapest fix is the best. Find a source of plaster of paris that is cheap, mix it, slather it on, and you will soon see the holes disappear. Another method is to prewet the existing cloth, which you would do with the slather method, too, then sprinkle the powder over the cloth, and finally, mist the powder while it is in place. Let it set up.

I like the Gypsolyte idea. If you can get it for an acceptable price for your budget, and if you can spread it thinly enough to do the job AND cover all that you need, I would seriously consider it.
