Anyone ever use a Polyurethane Glue(Gorilla Glue, Elmers Ultimate Glue) to repair a brass car?
i’ve never used elmers but i have used gorilla glue and i think it is supposed to be used on wood. when you use it the glue goes on one part and the other part is dampened with water as the glue needs the moisture to cure. wouldn’t solder be a better choice for repairing brass?
Gorilla Glue is not for metal because it requires clamping and it foams and expands as it cures. After it dries, it looks exactly like the styrofoam in a pressurized can.
