Posting Pics.

To the people who run and maintain this website and forums.

Would it be at all possible to make it easier to post pics on the forums instead of having to post on another site such as photobucket and such?

I think some of us who post on here would like to be able to show pics of works in progress, layouts, scenery, and the like but some such as myself sometimes have a hard time trying to post such pics.

Thank you.

Dennis, it is usually the case, in my experience on several forums of different subjects, that a webhost is used to spare the forum server the inordinate data storage burden it would otherwise bear. So, for now, unless Kalmbach has a change of either plans or heart, I think you will have to get used to the current process.

Meanwhile, it will be a much more direct method for you to communicate your interest if you were to send it to customer services. As the various staff members of the Magazine have stated a number of times over the years, requests for changes and such are much more likely to actually be seen by them if sent via customer services. A link to that contact is found at the bottom of the page.

This has been asked many times in the past, without any direct reply from our hosts. But the general feeling is the amount of storage space for hosting photos is more than they are interested in providing for.

So what’s the big problem about loading photos in Photobucket (or other site) and copying the links in a post? It does take a little bit more time, but isn’t something that’s out of line timewise.

I find it very easy to post pictures using Photo Bucket. Just takes a little practice.

Rich

Here’s how to do it, from one of the earlier times you asked
