Just now started into N scale. Is there sources that offer prefab kits for a table similar to Jim Hediger’s small table he constructs completely from plywood. I don’t have the skills to follow his plans. But I like the table …perfect for what I need.
Are there sources that offer such simple tables in a kit form that I could assemble? I would think there must be,… This is a large & growing industry. Any help is much appreciated.

There are several companies that offer “pre-fab” benchwork. I have not used any of them but have been looking. It seems to me that benchwork is one of the biggest obstacles to building a layout for many people.
Do you have any friends who do carpentry? I’ve got a friend from hockey who is a carpenter by trade, and I’ve hired him to do projects around my house. If you can draw up plans, it would probably be cheaper to hire someone to do the work than to buy the pre-made benchwork. Tradesmen and contractors can get discounted prices on lumber, too.
