printable paper buildings

Looking for links to web sites with free, printable paper buildings. I know it/they have been posted before, but can’t find them.

Here’s another one - O-gauge, but you can resize as needed. It’s from Big Indoor Trains.

Guys, thanks for the links. Some of these have very good potential, especially in backdrop type scenes where gaps may need to be filled.

This is my latest build, it ´s a Scalescenes factory. I don´t consider them to be “background” stuff, but due to the 3D design and real colors it is more realistic than most other plastic kits, I think.

I´m really hooked on these now, they are real fun to build and are very good for kitbashing, because if you need another wall, you just print one out!

Give me more!!!

We usually offer a free kit for download as a way of introducing modelers to working with paper. there’s a small flag stop up right now and a new model will be going up the first of march.

Here’s a freebie from their website I built

Another source: scalebuildings.co.uk

I would double check the printed size to make sure it’s in the correct scale (seem to be on the small size for HO).

PS
Scalescenes’s prints are not free although one or two samples are available for free download.

A couple of these pages I have not scene… Thank you…

One thing to remember is that most inkjet printer inks are not color fast. You should spray them with a clearcoat spray like Krylon Acrylic to keep the ink from running from an inadvertant scenery spray and to provide some UV protection from fluroescent lights. You can find this spray at craft stores.

Krylon comes in a special UV protection formula as well.

Some nice paper buildings are there but they are not for free :frowning: There is one free building but it is in 1/35 scale.

Scalescenes downloads are not for free, but reasonably priced. But please remember, they are OO scale (1/76) and not HO scale, so they are slighty oversized. Their N scale downloads are 1/148 and not 1/160!
