I would like to make signs in N scale and would like to know what font size do I need to use for the appropiate size? Thanks
If you use #4 for numberboards, guess you can use any font & style larger than that! You can practice using Excel or any word program.
I just converted to N scale from HO. I’d like to use Adobe Photoshop to make things like road and trackside signs, business signs and billboards. How much do I have to reduce things to?
Is there also a program that lets me print out highway and RR signs?
The original question is too vague for a specific answer. What kind of signs do you want? Highway signs? Billboards? Signs on stores? Real lettering ranges from an inch or two to several feet high, depending upon where and how it is used.
Print some text on your computer in different font sizes and pick the ones that appear to be right.
I use 3 or 4 point font for station signs in N.
