Problem with AtlasC83 parameter in Xtrkcad? (solved now)

Thought I would give this another try as it was being discussed in posts recently. But the same problem exists in this parameter. Unlike the Atlas RTS, there are very few of the actual rail products available in the parameter for Atlas Code 83. Is there an update anywhere?

Unfortunately, Xtrkcad is the one that will align sidings correctlyand RTS is absolutely useless for this.

Have a look in the files section of the Yahoo! XtrkCad group. You probably have to join to get to it, but you might want to anyway. There were Atlas code 83 param files in “Dwayne’s Parameter Files”. Post a message to the group, and someone that knows what’s where will point you in the right direction.

A few clicks and I had it. The parameter file looks complete now.

and scroll down to Dwane’s stuff…that’s what worked for me.

I’m glad it worked, I hadn’t researched enough to know if that was new stuff, or just the stuff that was already there!

Thanks for that link Cisco!! I downloaded the program to try after reading your other post and noticed they only had “snaps” and #6’s. I’ll have to download the rest now![tup]

Those are European brands. You are unlikely to find them here. Fleischmann makes some good stuff, if you like European prototype.
