I have the very similar GP7 in ACR colours. I love the sound. I think my favourite is the bell. The rest of the locomotive is well done too and I hope to add more in the future.

Oustanding,the sound is great, I can almost feel the vibration and smell the diesel exhaust.
Great sound and operation , maybe I need to look at changing over to dcc from dc , price will be the deciding factor though.

Does anyone know if the new QSI sound system on these locos has a transition effect (that decrease in rpm as if the engine is shifting gears)? In the video, the engine didn’t get up enough speed to demonstrate the effect if is present.
I have several earlier GPs (no sound) and really like them. I’d love to see them come out with “modernized” versions with chop noses.

Awesome sound indeed and works with the unit at the same time too. I cannot wait to get my DCC up and running. Sound will be a must as I get the feel for the DCC system.
My favorite engines are the GP7’s & 9’s. It’s disappointing that these engines and the SW1200 & 1500’s are not more available in HO. I love the Chicago and Nothwestern railway. It was nice to see this road available. The product is FANTASTIC!!!
