For a 2-8-8-2 if i were to get it i would think it should run pritty well.
You could scrachbuild more powerful moters for it, thats probably all it takes. I have seen Proto’s locomotives at shows, they really don’t need extra detailing.
A beauty indeed. I’ve got the Roco version (Virginian 737), wich is the European version of The Proto2000 line. It has enough pulling power. I put a Tsunami Soundtraxx decoder in the model. Very satisfying!
