PRR Baggage Car Paint Question (trucks)

I have one of the Walthers B60B baggage cars in the large modern keystone scheme. I’ve found many pictures and some seem to indicate that the trucks were not black. My question is, were they painted Tuscan or am I seeing rust (trouble with being colorblind!).

Thanks

Ricky

Without checking my data sources, I do know for a time the trucks were painted an olive green, then of course they got dirty and grime built up as they were never washed. This was a pre-war color, also the underframe was painted olive green also. Most PRR Modelers used pullman green to represent the weathered green on the trucks.

Post war have black trucks under massive amounts of grime so appear a dirty brown in reality. Both the B60b and R50b cars rarely got washed and quickly became grimy and stayed that way.

Thanks

I found out the hard way that pre-war had Green trucks and post war had black. I have a set of MP-54’s 3 of the 7 have Green trucks and Red roofs. The rest have black trucks and black roofs.
