I took a look at “tags” and I’m wondering what is their purpose and why the large change in font size?

I admit, I have been off the rails for awhile and the forum is rather new to me. But, from my expeirence in other forums, “tags”, are way for people to help the posts stand out for searches.
Such as “weathering building” or “kitbash passenger car”. I have no idea about the font, maybe a built in way for the forum let folks know of tagged words?
