With a QSI version 7, how I get the best slow motion???

looks like what you’re looking for starts at page 210 and on.
QSI V7 has RTC Regulated Throttle Control and works best with 128 speed steps. On 28 speed steps the locomotive starts in speed step 4 when the throttle is on 1. I have spent a few hours experimenting with a V7 chip in a steam loco. I have found using RTC and tweaking the BEMF I get the loco to go about 1 inch a minute on speed step 1 of 128. Every loco will be different.
