2025 engine starts a squeal noise after comming up to speed. Seems like something is slipping. Wheels are lubed. Any thoughts on how to fix it. Hopefully I will be able to post pictures of my first O guage christmas layout the end of the week.

Sounds like your motor needs oil. Turn the loco upside down and put a drop of oil on both ends of the motor shaft. While you are at it oil the axle bearing too. That should quiet it down.

Thanks will give it a try. Wasn’t sure whether or not I needed to disassemble the engine to oil the motor. I did the axle bearings.
