the two i listen to is Great Big Rollin Railroad and The Silverton Train
Every-so-often, I will think of the Union Pacificâs âGreat Big Rollin Railroadâ song, and then it is in my head the rest of the day. Even if I donât want it there.
Itâs too bad todayâs railroad companies have a bottom line that doesnât allow for general audience advertisements.
no kidding i wish they would come out with some newer jingles again
im that way with the silverton train itll be in my head all day what makes it funny 2 of my G-scale are DR&G im just looking for a good engine to start my G scale with need something that can pull weight so im looking at a USA trains SD70MAC or ACE
Genesis: Driving the Last Spike
the G-scale was a resale shop purchase alot of track more then enough to make a good size oval all metal LGB the steam engine(not working broken) flat car with carrages and animals passenger car all for emmets circus and a stock car. and a transformer with the track connector for 25$ because thats what he had in it and the guy didnt want to deal with it anymore
ironically enough i bought from him those g scale cheap remote control steamers before with 3 cars and track so i just use that one until i get the SD70 in and the ground drys up
Iâm more likely to be listening to Linda Ronstadt, John Prine, Jason Isbell, Kris Kristofferson, Billy Joel, Hank Jr, etc.

Unlike many on the forum, Iâm a TV-aholic. When I got my first apartment and job, unmarried, my TV kept me company at night. It was like having someone else in the room with me.
That has continued. The TV in my layout room is always on, usually to old Perry Mason or Matlock reruns â mindless background noise while I work.
Duke Ellington Take the âAâ train LOL

âA Man and a Trainâ - Marty Robbins

Last train to Clarksville and what am I doing hanging round? by the Monkees.
Great song, espcially from the âLongsâ CD.
Iâve got some of those tooâthe City of New Orleans is probably my favorite!
The original, or any cover, of âK-4 Pacificâ by Gerry Mulligan. (Weâll forgive him the hyphenââŚ)
The whole album âAge of Steamâ is a classic of its era. It is the first LP I bought with my own moneyâŚ
"Itâs fun to ride the train today when the train you ride is Santa Fe! Santa Fe, all the way! Itâs fun to ride the train!"

âThey call us the Glory PeopleâŚâ
