For some time now, I’ve been toying with the idea of building the D-27 “Disappearing” Lionel Dealer Layout. I knew TTU made an officially licensed reproduction - but they don’t seem to be around anymore? At least their website is gone. Anyone know what happened to TTU?
I believe TTU sold the “new smoke pellets” portion of their business, at least, to:
I know nothing more about them.
As for the disappearing train layout, if you want to build it you can doubtless find the plans. Here is one source:
