I have several HO trains some dating back to the 70s. I am looking to sell them to someone that can fully appreciate them however I have no way of determing their value. Is there a good source (we site, catalog, etc.) for determining the value of older model trains?

This site mostly caters to the O gauge and S gauge crowd. While some may dabble in HO, you would have better success of reaching the HO folks at the “Model Railroader” site by following the links above. You may also get a good idea by doing a search for the items on EBay and seeing what they are going for. From my past experience, older HO does not command a good price. You may be better to give the items to a museum or non profit place and take the tax write off. Tom “Spankybird” here has a museum that he is associated with. Or, check locally.
