It’s good to see that at least one of the nations coal burning power plants is this progressive. This isn’t new technology. The scrubbers have been available for years, but until the EPA forced the industry to clean up their (ACT) emissions, most have been unwilling to invest more money. What’s even more interesting is that many of the nations power generating plants are owned and operated by non-profit co-ops.

Good new proving coal will return.

Wait a minute! Last I heard, the North Shore Railroad, owners of the Nittany & Bald Eagle, had lost their contract as operator of the rail system owned by SEDA-COG, with some hazy dealing “bidding” process based on “points” instead of dollars. Does anybody have any updates on who won the “bid” to operate trains on SEDA-COG’s property?
