TSA Executive Resources Council has approved the following selection:Gilbert S. Kovar, General Manager for Rail Security.
Gilbert Kovar joined TSA in July 2006, working in TSNM as a program analyst responsible for developing programs to ensure the safe movement of freight rail cargo.
Prior to coming to TSA, Gilbert worked in the freight rail business for over 30 years. Gilbert worked for CSX Corporation for seven years serving as vice president and general manager. He also worked at Conrail, Inc. for over 20 years serving as superintendent.
Sounds like he knows the business.
