I know this is a proverbial needle in a haystack for everyone out there but here it is:
I am looking for an RMC article that showed how to kitbash an enclosed water tower for keeping the water from freezing. The kitbash used an Atlas water tower, various kinds of Evergreen styrene and Grant Line windows. I think the article ran sometime in the late 80’s to the 90’s.
I kitbashed one at the time the article came out, but over the years, the article has gotten lost. I am, at some point, planning an expansion that would require more towers. I would like to find a copy of the article so that I can have the ability to build a similar tower to the one I have.
Any assistance that can be provided would be most welcomed.
You might be able to it in the magazine index (it is searchable).

I kind of remember that article. It was on a Canadian prototype tower. It had clapboard siding on the outside, and octagon shaped? I believe it was in the early 80s. I would write RMC and see if they can help locate it for you. Maybe a google search for starters.

I’d have to see the article but I think it might be the November 1989 article as that would be in the range that I am looking for.
