I own a 1970 Life-Like #S359K Hamberger Stand (McDonalds) Model. I was told that this on on the market for a short while and was taken off because of not all approvals were in place between the parties involved. The kit did not appear until 1973 in the Landscaping and Scenic material Catalog as #S357F. IS this true? Does anyone know what the value is? e-mail me at ewasserman63@hotmail.com
I did a google search and found a picture of what you’re talking about. Looks like you got the info you have so far from the same sight. I have no idea if Life Like is collected like Lionel, etc. The website makes it sound like this could be a rare piece, but if no one wants it for the “collectible” aspect, I would think it’s only as valuable as a newer version of the same piece.
Perhaps looking on Yahoo and seeing if they have a Life-Like or Tyco user group might lead you to some people that know more about your item?
