Oh great, lets widen the war to personal attacks because religion is indicated in the title. Thats a cheap shot. First of all, I read cmtpigs messages above and noticed the same thing. Poor communications skills and grammar don’t help anyone make an argument believable. I didn’t see any insults above but rather salient fact that claims are being made but in a manner which seems to indicate either a lack of age or education. Again, not helping anyone make a believable case.
I will say, it sure seems this product line is cursed with bad luck, bad carma or something as it seems the assets, molds etc just keep getting handed to the next bad luck charley. I have very little E&C freight cars and doubt I’ll get much if any more at all. They are very crude in terms of parts, molding and fidelity (those that I have).
I have been reading about the issues between LBF and Huberts for several months recently. Does anyone know of an objective source for what happened? I know that there have been alot of rumors and inference about the old owner of E&C Shops and LBF. I have read that Hubert’s is manufacturing a large part of the former LBf line but there are several specific modles that I have noticed are not inbluded. I read tonight about an auction of LBF assets.
Can anyone point to an objective source as to what happened or provide a more detailed account? I would really just like to know what happened.
I talk to the Owner of LBF (ie E&C) every week Mr Becker has been very, up set about the stuff that has been happing. When I put something out about LBF you can be assured That it is coming from the right person. As for LBF I feel that that line will be officially Dead. Mr Backer health will not allow he to start over. He called me over a month ago And talked about bring things back and make new car, but I guess he was not able to getThe court to see things his way and there is a lot of money owed. I have none Mr beaker For over 14 year and have been to his home and worked on this lay out too many times.
