Great hopper.
What must have gone thru Mr Karl Bond’s mind, who had an article about kitbashing this very freight car from an Athearn 3-bay covered hopper in the Oct 2015 Model Railroader.
Well, at least he did make it in print, and the Athearn base model for the kitbash is US$10.00 cheaper MSRP than American Unlimited.
Scale Size Working Coupler? New tooling and no comment in the review??? Seems might be more significant than the car itself!!
