Are these units being “held” in the same location as VP Cheney was during the Bush administration.
I’m starting to have serious doubts that EMD can get all five remaining units out by the get-together in Spencer. They seem to be only able to get out about one a week, to get out five in a week and a half is starting to seem like a big stretch to me (though admittedly, how hard can it be to paint the PC unit?).
Have my fingers crossed that all of the units make it to Spencer
Tip of the Hat to NS for doing this homage to its heritage.
Wag of the Finger to NS for retaliating against employees who injure themselves.
As a retired rail and avid railfan, I would rather NS treat its employees with dignity and respect than paint locomotives in heritage hues. However, there is no reason they cannot do both simultaneously!

I especially enjoyed the photographs of all units mentioned in the online article!
