Regio Sprinter

Does anyone know where I can purchase a model Regio Sprinter

Just what is a “Regio Sprinter”? A description, scale, gauge, manufacturer, etc. might help.

Bob B, Do you think a universal translator would work on here? I doubt it. I know I can mispell but I think a Regio Sprinter railcar is an urban transit train used in Calgary maybe? Google it. don

Sure I can Google anything, but if someone is looking for some help, those on this forum could better help if the question was posed with sufficient info to generate interest. For all I know a “Regio Sprinter” might be a bicycle or a pair of sneakers. [:D]

Do you mean the German type?

The RegioSprinter looks similar to models made by Marklin in 3 rail HO. I don’t recall if Trix has any in two rail.

The Regio Sprinter is a “lightweight, self-propelled, passenger-friendly diesel rail car from Siemens.” It was demonstrated in the US in 1997 (Glenwood Springs, CO for one) and is operational in Europe. I am looking for HO or N. But I don’t know if anyone has modeled this train. For picture go to my website kipwh.com and select AspenTrailsandRails / Preserving the Future

Not available yet. It had been rumored that PIKO wanted to make one, but nothing so far.

Sorry.

I guess the Regioshuttle by BEMO (caution: $$$$$$$… err €€€€€€€€€€ ) is as close as you can get right now. Try

and click “Regioshuttle HO” for roadnames.
