Hello all
Does anyone know what will remove woodland scenics dry transfer numbers without damage to fresh Scalecoat 11 underneath? My first time at painting and my LHS is no help.
Thanks

Assuming the Scalecoat is dry-
I’d try scotch tape- press it down on the transfer you want to remove, then pull it off.
Might take a couple tries to get the transfer off completely, but that has always worked for me…
Same for me, though I used blue masking tape and removed decals rather than dry transfers on Scalecoat II. If you do damage the paint job you could airbrush again. Good luck.

Thanks guys,
I never thought of tape. I’ll give it a try.

WD-40
I’ve used acetone free nail polish remover (sparingly) on a piece of paper towel to good effect without harming the paint. Don’t know about scalecoat as I’ve not used it.
