renumber a reefer with microscale decals

Hi all,

I have 2 57’ PFE mech reefer in N scale. they have the same road number. I do have microscale decals to renumber one car, but I’m not sure about the correct process.

I remeber I read something on MR magazine, but I can’t find the issue with that article. does anyone rember? or have a URL? or have any tip?

There have been many posts on this subject. I suggest you try a search. These are very small, so you might try a 50-50 solution of alcohol and a Q-tip or a small amount of cotton twirled onto a toothpick and poco a poco (I know that’s Spanish) try to polish the existing number off.

thanks for your answer. I’ll try a search and then give your method a try. don’t worry: “poco a poco” means the same both in spanish and italian :slight_smile:
