I have some Kato rolling stock and am looking to replace the Kato couplers with Micro-Trains couplers. How difficult is this to accomplish?
Not very difficult, what locos are you looking to swap couplers on?
Not looking to replace the locomotive couplers, yet., just the rolling stock. I eventually want to convert everything to Micro-Train couplers, but for right now, I am looking at buying a couple of box cars that already have Micro-Train couplers installed. The first step is to replace a couple of the Kato couplers so that I can add the new cars.

oh well that’s easy you could swap the trucks, here’s a list of trucks you may want or need from MTL.
