I’m laying my track down (FINALLY!) and I can’t decide if I should use a rerailer track as I’m in N gauge. If I don’t, and change my mind later, how easy or hard would it be to add one later? I’m using flex-track.
It would be very difficult to go back and add one, so it’s best to plan ahead and put them in now, ragardless of the scale.
Why not invest a dollar of two in a Rix rerailer, that way you can use it anywhere on your layout and not have to worry about disquising your track rerailers as grade crossings.
I have one of those; but they don’t work on curves. Also, what would I do if a car in the middle of a string derails? You can’t use the Rix re-railer for that!
