Rescar - Missing Industrial Locomotive?

Hello all,

I’ve posted this on some of the Yahoo Groups, but I haven’t received an answer. I’m looking for the disposition of the GE 45 ton locomotive (b/n 17854, Blt: 7/1943) that was used in Gordon, Georgia at the Rescar operation there. It has since gone elsewhere. This locomotive was previously owned by the Wisconsin & Michigan Railroad, nee-Calumet & Hecla Co.

Have you tried calling them and asking? Most companies are helpful if the person calling is considerate and mannerly.
