Resoldering connections

I spent an hour or so last night soldering track together at the railjoiners and the majority look fine this morning. There’s one or two that I’m not sure if I got enough solder down in the joint, so the question is, it ok to simply flow some more solder onto these areas or do I have to clean the solder out and redo it altogether?

I would think if it is clean you should be able to add some more solder. Try it and see if it flows allright. I have done this with no problems at all. Mike

Re-soldering shouldn’t be a problem. Add some fresh flux when you re-solder, it will help the solder flow.

Ok, thanks guys.

If it has been done recently [like a wek or two at the most say] then just add some flux and reheat the area should be fine.
After a minute or two give it a tug, if it holds it is fine. If not then a complete redo is in order as some dirt and oxidization got in there.
I hope that helps
