Yes, 2 killed as of now, not clear who.
Channel 5 said both victims were in the car, which was dragged some distance down the line.
Channel 7 and the tribune reported the victims to booth be in there eighties.
The two women in the car ran through an operating gate and into the Metra train, which was running at 60 mph (estimate). The women were elderly neighbors, 81 and 97 years old. Friends denied rumor of suicide or a good bye note.

I can’y believe they were heading to anythimg but Carson-Pirie Scott… Now like 90 year olds,my Dad is 93 and I can revive his old time (Detroit-Reading) memory within seconds but his short-term is fading fast.
I can’t see those ladies doing suyicide unless the kids wanted them out for the insurance and the aunties had lost track of the children. which they practtically never do.
Was it a "54 Plymouth, an "87 Buick, or were they thinking they were + piloting a Baker Electric? They couldn’t have wanted to hurt anyone on the train…
We’ll probably never know, but I’d suspect greedy kids.

Not a good past week for Metra just this past week in Wilmette we had a 59 year old man jump in front of the train to commit suicide.
