Off topic a bit perhaps. The train rolled through KC Union station yesterday right after noon. Part of it was already out of sight before I began counting cars (at least 35 sleepers or dorms), box cars (about a dozen), flats with trailers trucks and buses blocked) and maybe some more. I estimated the consist to include perhaps 60 cars all told. The large animal cars generally make an appearance each year and are spotted for a few days on a side track in the terminal. But I had no idea the entire train was so long. It was a wow moment for me.
There are actually two trains. A “blue” train and a “red” train. Both are actually about 58 cars long. They have a website for both trains. The dining car is really neat. I’ll send you the link when I find it.

I saw the Ringling Brothers circus train roll through our town about ten years ago. I was also surprised by the length of the train. The other thing that surprised me was the speed of the train. It rolled through the center of town at a really high speed. I have never seen a train, passenger or other, roll through our town at such a high speed.

When I lived in Kentucky, my property was next to the CSX tracks - they used to be the L&N mainline.
One day while working in my garden, the Ringling Brothers Circuis train came by. I’ll agree, it is an impressive train. I didn’t count the cars, but it was long and was an interesting mix of passenger and freight rolling stock.
Here are a few pic from when it came through Cleveland - Willoughby last year
