Which Riverline are you talking about? The old West Shore between Selkirk NY and Kearny NJ?

Thanks for the pics, LB. The River Line is my local railroad too, though we haven’t been there in a while because train activity was becoming increasingly rare. I have been to Kingston and there are good spots for photos around town. I usually am by Ridgefield Park, they don’t bother you if you mind your own business and stay on public property. I have to admit, things seemed more reliable under Conrail, very sporadic with CSX.

Thanks for the pics…I live near the River Line about 50 miles or so South of Kingston, NY…its actually about 5 or 6 miles due East of me, but I can hear horns and engines on it at night…I get up to Iona Island and hike down to get up on the hillsides to shoot from time to time…
