Road #, renumbering number box SD70M, how??

I want to re-number a Genesis SD70M, im ok with doing the cabsides with decal’s but how do you go about renumbering the number box’s on the cab front??

This will be my first renumber.

Can the “glass” for the number boards be pressed out or removed without damaging anything? If so, you can take those out and work on those separate from the body. Or you can order the part from Athearn with nothing on it.

I think they would push out quite easily. I guess then it would be a case of painting the ‘glass’ black again and applying new numbers?
