Since your work on kitbashing brass details to make a very realistic RI 2-10-2 is so fine I’m wondering why your layout appears to be non-scenicked?

This is my first true layout and it is very much a work-in-progress that I’ve been doing for the last two years. I’m intending to add more shrubs and plant life but haven’t gotten around to it just yet, though I have some. It’s based on scenery you’d find in Oklahoma, though in that respect it needs some taller grass. Here are a couple of shots of the layout.
