Would anyone here know of any photos of the interior of a RR Crossing Watch Tower such as the one shown? Other than a small coal stove, gate controls, maybe a desk and a chair, what else was there? Was there a way for the operator to relieve themself without leaving the building?

Here is a video that shows some of the inside of the Utica crossing watchtower, currently being renovated. It includes an interview with one of the people that manned it in its later years. That interview is in the last 1/3rd of the video
Probably a ‘thunder mug’ chamberpot. Certainly plenty of ‘privacy’ to use it up there!
