Run 8 Train Simulator?

(NOTE: I also posted this in the Train Simulation Software forum, but I also re-posted it here because this tends to have more traffic [swg])

Right now I have MSTS 2003… it’s alright but I am looking to upgrade.

What experience do y’all have with the Run 8 software? (run8studios.com) Would you recommend it over say, the newer versions of Trainz, Railworks or MSTS? Are there any updates/add-ons currently available?
