Great to see it

fantastic to see another steam locomotive in steam as they should be so much better than a cold lifeless museum exhibit it seems preservation knows no bounds these days well done to all concerned in the 2 8 2 s restoration and good luck hope we get a live stream of her first runs from trains mag Charles Coleman England

I like this engine and this story. Saginaw was a town in Washington, where #2 started in 1912 with Saginaw Timber Company. Oregon, Minnesota, Michigan, Maine and other timber states also have towns called Saginaw.

I rode on this train when I was 5 years old in 1967!. Glad to see it will be steaming soon!!

After steaming Saturday and Sunday, the fire was dropped and the 2 is back in the enginehouse. Next up, removal of plumbing so the lagging and jacketing can be installed, then piping reinstalled.
