Excuse the intrusion here from the Garden Railways board where I normally hangout. I’ve been into this hobby since I was in my teens in one gauge or another. Lionel 0 in junior high school, N and HO later in life and now G outdoor in my golden years.
I was going through my books and such and ran across a folder of pictures that I took of a huge Lionel Layout in Salinas in 1988. A co worker took me over there and got us in as the building was due to be demolished to make way for another shopping mall. This was the old feed store on North Main Street across from the Northridge Shopping Center. The store was torn down and I never heard where the trains went.
Just wondering if anyone here was familar with that great layout and knows whatever came of it. I was told that day that it had been started in the 1940’s.
